Islands Feral Cat Project

Islands Feral Cat Project

After spending some time back in the Savannah area I began to notice a several feral cat communities on the islands. These highly charismatic cats peaked my interest in putting together a body of work documenting their plight. After poking around the areas they seemed to congregate I found a series of cat habitat stations with signs pointing me to the Islands Feral Cat Project. The Islands Feral Cat project is a non profit organization with a mission to spay/neuter, care for and identify the various feral cat colonies in the area. The Islands Feral Cat Project operates through the help of volunteers and is funded through donations. Please visit their site for more information. I decided to continue with my own portrait project of these island felines.
Help if you can. More info at the Island Feral Cat Project.

Their eyes look dead to me. A bit unsettling. Not sure what to feel about these cats.

These photos are absolutely beautiful. The same results just can’t be duplicated using Photoshop on a digital photo.
